Moud Kasirivu has been painting professionally since the age of 15. He was born in Uganda in the Nangabo sub-county Wakiso district and lived in the Daughters of Charity Orphanage when his mother passed away. At the orphanage, Moud discovered his love for art and his sponsors supported his endeavors. Despite a lack of formal training in art, Moud was named Uganda's Most Talented Youth Artist. He has been commissioned by five star hotels and restaurants to paint murals and supply paintings for the decor. Moud's paintings will be on exhibit at EB5 Art Gallery in Spring, Texas, throughout the month of July 2008. During his stay in the United States, he will be a guest speaker at numerous functions.
